Last week ten afghan soldiers with Afghan National Army’s 207th Corps graduated from the Artillery Train to Instruct (T2I) course. The students underwent 24 days of rigorous training culminating in a practical skill proficiency test and instructor certification.
Their training included fire direction center operations, employment of the D30 howitzer, land navigation, utilizing communications systems, and the fundamentals of instructing.
They will now joint the 207th Corps as proficient artillerymen who will contribute to a better future of Afghanistan.
NATO remains committed to support the Afghan National Defense and Security forces in paving a way towards a political settlement of the conflict. By doing so we are protecting our homelands. Afghanistan must never again become a safe haven for terrorists.
