Ministry of Defense (MoD) in Kabul featured congratulations from Director of
General Staff, Lieutenant General Habib Hessary,
the Branch Chief Stabilization at RESOLUTE SUPPORT Headquarters, Brigadier
General Sergio Cardea (Italian Army) and the Chief Policy and Plans Department at
the Afghan General Staff, Brigadier General Mohammad Aman Azimi.
During the event students conducted a conclusive

Hessary handed over of certificates of participation to the graduates,
including the "Best Student Award” in recognition of excellent results.
The course lasted two
months and was conceived and autonomously organized by the General Staff Policy
and Plans Department, based on the structure of a similar course conducted by NATOs
Joint Forces Command Brunssum. Supported by HQ RS, more than 200 ANDSF men and
women over the past two years have been trained in these courses. The purpose
is to enable Afghan personnel to take a leading role in organization and
conduct of future training and operational activities.
NATO remains committed
to help the Afghan Forces in their fight against terrorism, thus providing
