Resolute Support Deputy Commander Lt. Gen. Sandy Storrie offered condolences to the family of Afghan National Army Gen. Muhayuddin Ghori, commander of the 207th Zafar Corps, after the helicopter in which he was riding crashed late today.

An explosive device was detonated on Bagram Airfield today resulting in multiple casualties. Four people have died in the attack and approximately 14 were wounded.

An explosive device was detonated near the German Consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif last night, resulting in multiple casualties. A Resolute Support quick reaction force from Train, Advise, Assist Command - North rapidly deployed to the consulate to provide additional security and assist with evacuating consulate staff.

Two U.S. service members died as a result of wounds sustained during operations in Kunduz district, Kunduz province today. Two other U.S. service members were wounded in the operation.
